Problem
High Monkey Consulting is a digital agency in Northeast Minneapolis with a unique and memorable name, but an undefined identity that made it difficult for potential customers to hone in on what exactly the company did, and what it did well.
Solutions
In re-branding the company, Widdershins looked to create a cohesive visual identity that used the "monkey" part of the name in a way that better captured the work the company did, and it's unique position in the market of digital agencies focused on web design.
Scope
Updating existing logo per request of company, creating new brand style guide along with accessible PANTONE color combinations, brand design assets, fonts, icons, marketing materials, and website re-design concepts.
The High Monkey brand standards guide was made as an internal tool to ensure that use of company brand assets is regulated and consistent regardless of who is doing the work. Guidelines contained in the 44 page document include proper use instructions for primary and secondary logos, font use, spacing, and alignment, color compliancy scales, icons and other brand assets, marketing messaging for 3 main services directed towards a specific audience, social media content calendar and tips, and much more.

The first line of business was updating the high monkey logo to elevate the current monkey. The new monkey can be used as both a repeating pattern and stands up to scrutiny when enlarged. The vague "smart human solutions" tagline was removed for more descriptive "digital agency" and "we fix websites and workplaces" tags.

Business Cards
Along with the new brand several new brand materials needed to be produced, including business cards for all client-facing team members. The cards' design was kept simple and light, and again tied in the company's new identity.
High Monkey Icons
Two different sets of icons were developed for use; services icons and project icons. The services icons are more detailed, and describe services offered by the company. Included in services are also aspects of High Monkey that separates the company from it's competitors. The project icons are used specifically for certain aspects of individual client projects, and are featured on both client presentations and case studies on the website.

Problem
Current High Monkey Website didn't reflect the quality of work that clients should come to expect from the company if they worked on their own website.
Solutions
Invest time into creating a professional looking website that properly demonstrates the company's web design and development capabilities, while also remaining true to it's no-frills, accessible roots.
Scope
Start to finish client-level web design and build, including site mapping, content chunking, wireframing, user flows, user testing, final design concepts, design of final site graphics, development and launch.
